It’s been a long time since I have been out of the blogging game. But I made a list of weddings, engagements, and family shoots that I have yet to blog and that list is long. Lets just say its close to 30 sessions that will be coming your way. I want to say that you will get a couple of post a week, but I will be posting at least once a week. So get ready for some amazing weddings and awesome couples that I had the chance to photograph this past year. I might even throw in some personal work too!

This beautiful couple is Allie and Freddie. They are such a sweet couple. We endured at complete downpour under a pavilion for about a half hour while photographing their engagement session at the Kankakee State Park. But it was well worth the wait. I can not wait to photograph their wedding this July!

Congrats to Matt and Emily, your wedding was stunning and you guys are seriously one of the coolest couples I have met. Thanks for allowing me to document your special day!

I had a blast walking around Chicago with Mitch and Bri. This day was different as I had the opportunity to walk through the Art Institute of Chicago talking about art and seeing with my own eyes what inspires these two. After that I got to go to a pretty sweet record store, Reckless Records, as these two browsed through their favorite section of the Beatles records. It was a great day that really showed me what these two were like. They have big plans for their wedding. The best part is, I have known Bri for a very long time and I photographed Mitch’s sisters senior photos a couple of years back. Both families are amazing. So to say that I am excited to shoot this wedding is an understatement!

To start this blog off, I want to show you an amazingly awesome couple. Meet Brian and Liz. They are such a fun and laid back couple and wanted to show off some of their favorite spots in Chicago. This wedding was filled with emotion, details, and love. I am proud to have been witness to it. They were married on the north side of downtown Chicago and we traveled around downtown for some pretty important locations to them, like the spot where Brian proposed.

I also want to thank my second photograph Nick Holstein who provided some amazing documentary images. His photos are mixed in throughout this post.

Congrats Brian and Liz and I hope married life is amazing!

Paul and Lauren had a beautiful wedding in Downtown Chicago. You might be wondering, why there are so many photos? I couldn’t possibly edit this blog post down any further. Paul and Lauren are such a sweet couple. Not only were they so sweet toward me and made sure I had what I needed, they just so much chemistry. Lindsey from Designer Event Chicago, did such an amazing job with the details of the wedding. The wedding took place at the Hilton in Downtown Chicago with the ceremony and reception taking place at the amazingly cool Architectural Artifacts. I can not wait to shoot there again.

Also I just wanted to say thank you to Jessica Martell, who came to second shoot this wedding with me. You were a huge help!

So this past Sunday, I got to do one of my favorite things, enjoy time spent with family. I brought my camera along to photograph the day. It isn’t hard to make images of my nephews.

So I had the privilege of photographing the super sweet Adam and Tiffany. What an awesome couple and such a fun time. Please enjoy this sneak peek before the larger blog post coming soon!

What a session! It was my first engagement session of the year and I knew it was going to be good when Kaveeta and I discussed shooting at Salvage One! If you haven’t been before, you need to check it out. It is three floors of vintage and antique furniture. Oh and they also host weddings and receptions. Such a cool place!

Kaveeta and Roshan are such a fun couple. Whether they were arm wrestling or giving me goofy faces they were having fun and so was I, not to mention they are such a beautiful couple! They are having a wedding celebration in India next year and all I can say is, after spending the day with them, I know it is going to be one heck of a party. We finished the day at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
